I’m Ausha Moore, I’m a freshamn infielder on the softball team at UNT. I grew up in Del City, Oklahoma and I attended Carl Albert Highschool, where I played varsity softball all four years. I started to get recruited by North Texas my junior year of high school and during my recruiting process, I always knew that North Texas would be the place for me. It was one of the easiest decisions I ever had to make. I ended up choosing UNT because I felt like they had taken a chance on me, as I was Never ranked the highest or played for the best teams, they always saw me for who I was. I also knew that the university supported the softball program very much as we have just broke ground on our new facilities. Being here as a freshman, it has been everything that I have expected. I could not imagine myself being, playing or being coached by anyone else. I love to read, thrift and try new foods on my off time. Meeting new people and hanging out with friends is something that I like to do too.
