My name is Jaxon Jelkin. I am a true junior from Omaha, Nebraska. I enjoy hunting and golfing in my free time. Throughout my career, I have made several stops before landing at the University of Houston. My freshman year, I played at the University of Nebraska. Then, I decided to go and play in Arizona at South Mountain CC. While at South Mountain, I had a lot of success and got the opportunity to be drafted by the Los Angeles Dodgers in the 14th round of the 2023 draft. After a long thought process, I decided to bet on myself and play another year of Division I baseball here in Houston. I am excited to experience the culture and game-day environment here in H-town and can't wait to see all the Cougar fans this 2024 season.
