My name is Grayson Venezia, and I am a pole vaulter for the University of South Alabama. I was born in a New Orleans suburb, but my family moved to Canton, Georgia shortly after Hurrican Katrina. I began pole vaulting as a high school freshman to beat my older brother's PRs, but he has always been one of my greatest supporters. I graduated from Creekview High School with a 4.35 GPA, and I was the county, region, and state champion, as well as an Adidas All American. I have also been named to the Atlanta All Metro Team. While attending the University of South Alabama, I will major in Mechanical Engineering. I am excited to continue my sport at the next level and to represent South in competition.
