My name is Allison Stigarll and I am going into my senior year as a student-athlete. I grew up in a big family with five siblings and everyone was athletic so it was only tradition that I found my place in the sports world.
For me, it was throwing and I have been in love with it since I started as a 10u athlete during USATF summer track. This passion has brought me so much positivity in my life being a vehicle for me to venture out and find other interests in my life. I love being involved with a team and this has lead me to become president of The Progressive Black Student organization on campus as well as being elected to the homecoming committee. I’ve always naturally gravitated towards leadership positions but that confidence to pursue it how I have after transferring to North Texas was built with the foundation of being a student athlete.
Once I graduate I plan to continue my academics in law school as I study to become a defense attorney. Looking forward to where it takes me!
